The University of Delhi (DU) has officially launched the second phase of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for undergraduate admissions for the 2024-25 academic session as of today, August 1. This crucial stage allows candidates to finalize their preferences for programs and colleges, which will determine their admission status.

Understanding the Process
The admission process at DU for the 2024-25 academic session involves multiple phases, each crucial for securing a seat in the desired program and college. Phase 1 of the CSAS included the initial registration and submission of basic details. Phase 2 requires candidates to make informed decisions about their program and college preferences, which will be used to allocate seats based on CUET scores.
The correction window allows candidates to make necessary adjustments to their application details before finalizing their preferences. Once preferences are locked, a simulated rank declaration will help students gauge their potential placement.
The allocation process will proceed with the first CSAS allocation list, and candidates must accept their allocated seats within the specified timeframe. Verification by colleges and fee payment will confirm their admission. A second round of allocation will address any remaining vacancies and allow candidates to adjust their preferences accordingly.
Candidates are advised to stay updated with the official DU admission website for any changes or additional information. Timely completion of all required steps and adherence to deadlines will be crucial in securing a place in the undergraduate programs at the University of Delhi.
