Claudia Schiffer watches premier league game at London stadium

Supermodel Claudia Schiffer was spotted enjoying a Premier League match between Brentford and Nottingham Forest at the Gtech Community Stadium in west London on Saturday. The 54-year-old German icon, who shares a home in the UK with her filmmaker husband Matthew Vaughn, added a touch of glamour to the football scene, showcasing her timeless style.

Schiffer, a household name in the fashion world, was seen in a striking leopard print coat, capturing attention in the crowd as she sat with her daughters, Clementine and Cosima. The game, which ended in a 2-0 victory for Nottingham Forest, marked another of Schiffer’s appearances at a top-flight match in the UK.

It’s not the first time the supermodel has been spotted at a Premier League match. In March 2023, she attended Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Leeds at Stamford Bridge, further cementing her love for the sport.

Claudia Schiffer rose to fame in the 1990s as one of the original “supermodels” alongside industry legends like Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, and Christy Turlington. Her beauty and iconic status on the runway helped define an era of fashion, making her a household name worldwide.

Beyond her modelling career, Schiffer has ventured into acting, appearing in films such as Richie Rich (1994), Zoolander (2001), and Love Actually (2003), where her distinct presence added to the films’ star-studded casts. However, her passion for football has brought her into the public eye once again, blending her high-profile career with her personal interests.

The match at Gtech Community Stadium saw Brentford take on Nottingham Forest in what turned out to be a competitive game, though it was the visiting team that ultimately claimed victory. Forest’s 2-0 win adds another chapter to the club’s ongoing Premier League campaign.

Schiffer, who has been a part of the UK’s social and cultural fabric for years, has found a balance between her personal life, professional career, and love for sports. Her attendance at these matches, whether in London or other cities, adds a celebrity flair to the sporting events, further demonstrating the blend of style and football that defines her life outside of the runway.

In recent years, Schiffer has remained relatively low-key in the public eye compared to her heyday as a global fashion icon. However, she has continued to keep a steady presence through her family life, her business ventures, and appearances at high-profile events, such as her recent attendance at the football match.

The Gtech Community Stadium, located in Brentford, is one of the Premier League’s newer venues and has become a bustling centre for football fans. On Saturday, it welcomed not only passionate football supporters but also high-profile figures like Schiffer, who proved once again that her influence spans beyond the fashion world and into the realm of sports and popular culture.

As for Schiffer’s daughters, Clementine and Cosima, they seem to share their mother’s appreciation for the beautiful game, sitting with her to watch the match unfold. The family enjoyed a relaxing afternoon in the stands, supporting their respective teams and soaking in the electric atmosphere of Premier League football.

Schiffer’s presence at the match also highlights the ongoing relationship between celebrities and football in the UK, with stars from all walks of life attending matches, showing their support, and engaging in the communal experience that is Premier League football.

As the season continues, it’s likely we’ll see more of the fashion icon at various games, perhaps offering another glimpse into the life of one of the world’s most famous supermodels, who remains firmly entrenched in the spotlight – not just for her modelling career, but also her family life, her love for football, and her presence at some of the most exciting sporting events in the country.
