HP OmniBook Copilot Plus PCs open for pre-order in India

HP has officially launched pre-orders for its latest OmniBook Copilot Plus range of AI-enabled laptops in India. The lineup includes four models: OmniBook Ultra 14, OmniBook X Flip, OmniBook 7, and OmniBook 5. Customers can choose between Intel and AMD variants, with the devices tailored for creators, hybrid workers, and digital freelancers.

The OmniBook series boasts AI-driven productivity features integrated deeply into Windows 11, aiming to improve workflows with Copilot Plus capabilities such as intelligent summarisation, meeting transcriptions, and more responsive multitasking. With sleek designs and high-resolution displays, these laptops are set to rival some of the top-tier offerings from other tech giants.

Samsung halts One UI 7 update amid critical bug

Samsung has paused the global rollout of its One UI 7 software update for the Galaxy S24 series. According to a post from trusted leaker UniverseIce on platform X, the decision was made after the discovery of a “serious bug”. The update had just begun reaching users last week, and Samsung is now expected to fix the issue before resuming the rollout.

Apple Vision Pro successor and AR glasses in the pipeline

Apple is reportedly expanding its Vision product family. Bloomberg reports that development is underway on a second-generation Vision Pro headset, alongside a more affordable and lightweight version. Additionally, Apple is working on AR glasses equipped with built-in cameras and microphones. The move signals Apple’s commitment to long-term ambitions in mixed and augmented reality spaces.

Samsung Galaxy M56 5G launching on April 17

Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy M56 5G smartphone in India on April 17. An Amazon listing reveals a sleek design, AMOLED display, and an improved camera system. Marketed as the slimmest in its category, the M56 5G is expected to attract mid-range buyers looking for premium features at a competitive price.

Motorola to debut its first laptop and tablet in India

Motorola is set to enter new territory with the launch of its first tablet and laptop — the Pad 60 Pro and Book 60 — on April 17. These devices were initially rumoured to launch alongside the Edge 60 Stylus, which will now debut on April 15. Flipkart has already gone live with product teasers, creating buzz ahead of the launch.

iPadOS 19 to bring iPads closer to MacBooks

The forthcoming iPadOS 19 update could mark a significant shift for Apple’s tablet ecosystem. As per Bloomberg, Apple is focusing on improving multitasking, app windowing, and workspace management. These changes aim to position the iPad more as a MacBook alternative, especially for productivity-driven users.

ChatGPT tops global app downloads in March

OpenAI’s ChatGPT app was the most downloaded app worldwide in March 2025, surpassing TikTok and Instagram. According to AppFigures, the app reached 46 million downloads, with India emerging as the primary driver due to rising interest in AI tools and AI-generated art.
