Samsung launches galaxy A16 5G in India

On October 18, Samsung officially launched its Galaxy A16 5G in India, following its global debut earlier this month. Priced starting at Rs 18,999, the mid-range smartphone is available in Gold, Light Green, and Blue Black colors. One notable difference in the Indian version is its MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, replacing the Exynos processor found in the global variant. The device is set to receive software updates for six years, ensuring long-term usability for its users.

OpenAI brings chatGPT app to windows OS

After launching on Mac earlier, OpenAI has introduced a dedicated ChatGPT app for Windows OS. Available only for paid users, the app is currently in preview mode and can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store. The app’s desktop availability allows users to interact with OpenAI’s popular chatbot more seamlessly on their PCs, further extending its integration into productivity tools.

Acer Nitro V 16 gaming laptop debuts in India

Acer has launched its latest Nitro V 16 gaming laptop in India, powered by Intel’s 14th generation processors. The models feature the Intel Core i7 14650HX and i5 14450HX processors and come equipped with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card with 6GB of GDDR6 VRAM. Designed to cater to both gamers and content creators, the Nitro V 16 aims to provide high-performance computing for demanding applications.

Samsung has set October 21 as the launch date for its Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition. Although details remain under wraps, the company has confirmed that this new foldable smartphone will be revealed later this month. Speculation suggests that the Special Edition could bring enhanced features and exclusive designs for foldable phone enthusiasts.

Motorola has announced that Google’s ‘Circle to Search’ feature will soon be available on its Razr 50 smartphones. While specific models have yet to be confirmed, the feature allows users to draw a circle on their screen to initiate a search, making the user experience more intuitive and engaging.

OnePlus is set to unveil its latest OxygenOS 15, based on Android 15, during a special event on October 24. The event will be livestreamed on the company’s official channels globally. OnePlus has teased that the new UI will introduce enhanced animations, effects, and artificial intelligence capabilities, providing a next-gen experience for its users.

OPPO previews iOS-inspired colorOS 15 UI

In a recent preview, OPPO introduced its new ColorOS 15, based on Android 15, in China. The update features redesigned UI elements, enhanced animations, and transition effects reminiscent of Apple’s iOS. ColorOS 15 also includes an AI-powered assistant similar to Apple’s Siri and offers an AirDrop-like function for sharing files seamlessly between OPPO devices and iPhones.

Leaked images of the upcoming OnePlus 13 have surfaced on Chinese social media platform Weibo, offering a glimpse at the phone’s redesigned frame and camera module. Android 15 introduces enhanced ‘theft protection’ features

With the release of Android 15, Google has rolled out enhanced privacy and security features, including Theft Protection. The updated features include Theft Detection Lock, Remote Lock, and the ability to remotely erase smartphone data.
