⚽ Manchester united lead Chelsea 1–0 at half-time after Cunha strike

Manchester United hold a narrow half-time advantage at Stamford Bridge after Matheus Cunha’s first-half goal gave them a 1–0 lead against Chelsea in the Premier League.

🔑 Key Moment

The breakthrough came in the 43rd minute when Bruno Fernandes delivered a precise assist into the box, allowing Matheus Cunha to finish first time beyond Robert Sánchez. It was United’s first shot on target, and it resulted in the opening goal.

📊 First-half summary

Despite the scoreline, Chelsea were the stronger side for much of the opening 45 minutes, dominating possession and creating several chances.

However, their lack of finishing continues to be a major issue:

  • Chelsea have now gone 395 minutes without scoring in the league
  • Several rushed shots and missed opportunities frustrated their attacks
  • A goal from Liam Delap was disallowed for offside earlier in the half

Manchester United, by contrast, were more efficient, with Bruno Fernandes once again central to their attacking threat. The midfielder now has 18 assists this Premier League season, continuing his standout campaign.

🧠 Analysis

  • Chelsea: dominant in play but wasteful in attack
  • Manchester United: limited chances but highly clinical
  • Bruno Fernandes: key creator, involved in almost every attacking moment

📌 Half-time score

Chelsea 0–1 Manchester United
