More than 80 celebrities have donated personal items to War Child’s Spring Clean, an annual fundraiser giving the public the chance to own one-of-a-kind memorabilia while supporting a vital cause.
Claudia Winkelman’s ‘favourite sweater’ up for grabs
Winkleman, 53, who hosts The Traitors, has parted with her oversized red sweat vest, which prominently displays The Traitors logo. The sweater, a gift from a friend, holds special sentimental value for the presenter.
“It’s an honour to support War Child, and I will always help in any small way that I can. This is my favourite sweater of all time. A brilliant woman made it for me, and I actually skipped about when I opened it.”
The item is particularly notable as Winkleman wore it to the press launch of series three of The Traitors, a show that has gained a cult following for its deception-based gameplay and dramatic twists.

“I’m so proud to be supporting Spring Clean for its second year. This time around, I’m donating a cosy tea and chat with me and two of your friends at a favourite tea spot in London. Of course, all of this is for an incredibly urgent cause.”
War child’s mission: Helping children affected by conflict
The Spring Clean auction is organised by War Child UK, a charity dedicated to supporting children affected by war and conflict.
The auction, which runs from 3rd April to 24th April, allows fans and collectors to bid on exclusive celebrity memorabilia, with all proceeds going towards life-changing programmes for children in some of the world’s most dangerous conflict zones.
