Apple’s popular audio brand, Beats, has teamed up with Kim Kardashian to launch a special edition of its Studio Pro headphones and Pill wireless speakers in India. Dubbed the “Beats x Kim” collection, this release offers a fresh aesthetic with expanded color options curated by Kardashian herself. The Beats Studio Pro is priced at Rs 37,900, while the Beats Pill Kim Special Edition comes in at Rs 16,900. Both products are available for purchase across Apple’s online and physical stores in India, and they cater to audiophiles who appreciate a blend of high-quality sound and sleek, stylish design.

The Studio Pro headphones are known for their active noise-cancellation feature and spatial audio, providing a superior listening experience. Meanwhile, the Pill speaker’s portability and powerful audio output make it a popular choice for those seeking a reliable, wireless speaker. This collaboration marks a step towards integrating celebrity fashion influence with premium tech products, adding a touch of elegance to Beats’ iconic lineup.

Sony ps5 pro launch in india delayed due to telecom spectrum dispute

Sony has announced that the anticipated launch of its PlayStation 5 Pro console will be delayed in India due to unresolved issues with wireless connectivity. The PS5 Pro, which leverages advanced technology and is optimized for the latest gaming experiences, uses the 6GHz wireless band in the IEEE 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) standard. Unfortunately, this frequency band has not yet been approved for consumer use in India. As a result, Sony confirmed that the PS5 Pro “will not be available in some countries (including India)” until these regulatory hurdles are cleared.

This announcement comes as a disappointment for Indian gamers who have been eagerly awaiting the upgraded console, which promises improved graphics, faster load times, and support for enhanced resolution and frame rates. Sony has yet to provide a timeline for resolving the connectivity issues, but they are working with regulatory authorities to find a solution for the Indian market.

Google gemini AI assistant expands with ‘utilities’ extension on android

Google’s Gemini AI assistant on Android is becoming more versatile with the introduction of a new “Utilities” extension. Previewed at Google’s I/O conference, this extension enhances Gemini’s functionality by allowing it to perform on-device tasks such as setting alarms and timers, controlling media playback, taking photos, and even opening third-party applications. This improvement reflects Google’s ongoing efforts to make Gemini a more integrated part of the Android experience, moving it closer to becoming a true digital assistant.

The Utilities extension is gradually rolling out to the Gemini mobile app on Android, and early users have reported improved responsiveness and ease of access to common tasks. As the extension expands, Gemini is expected to further enrich its AI assistant capabilities, positioning itself as a powerful competitor in the smart assistant market, especially as it increasingly allows for on-device operations without requiring internet access.

Microsoft improves software and game emulation for windows on arm

Microsoft is working on a significant update for Windows on Arm, aiming to improve the software compatibility and performance on PCs with Arm-based processors, particularly those that use the Copilot Plus system. According to sources from The Verge, Microsoft is testing an enhanced version of Windows 11 with selected Windows Insiders, focusing on improved emulation for 64-bit applications and gaming performance on Arm devices.

This update addresses the long-standing limitations of running legacy Windows applications on Arm processors, which often struggled with compatibility and performance issues. By enhancing the emulation capabilities, Microsoft aims to expand the usability of Windows on Arm and make it a more appealing option for both professional and gaming audiences. This initiative aligns with Microsoft’s broader efforts to optimize Windows for a variety of devices and processor architectures, including tablets, laptops, and other devices equipped with Arm-based chips.

This November 8 tech wrap reflects significant developments across audio technology, gaming, artificial intelligence, and mobile innovation. From Beats’ collaboration with Kim Kardashian to regulatory hurdles affecting the PS5 Pro, and new enhancements for Google and Microsoft platforms, tech enthusiasts have a lot to look forward to in the coming weeks.
