The Lava Agni 3 smartphone is officially available for purchase in India, following its launch on October 4, 2024. This innovative device features a dual-display design, highlighted by a unique 1.74-inch AMOLED display on the back, which allows users to view quick notifications, image previews, and much more. The Agni 3 also introduces a customizable “Action Key,” enabling users to assign various tasks similar to the Action Button found on Apple’s iPhone 16 series.

Price and variants

The Lava Agni 3 is offered in multiple configurations:

  • 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage (with charger): ₹22,999
  • 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage (without charger): ₹20,999
  • 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage: ₹24,999

Customers can choose from two attractive colors: Heather Glass and Pristine Glass.

Availability and introductory offers

The Lava Agni 3 can be purchased directly from the Lava e-store and the e-commerce platform Amazon India. To celebrate its launch, Lava is providing exciting introductory offers for customers. Buyers opting for the 128GB storage variant without a charger can avail a bank discount of ₹1,000, while the other two models are available with a ₹2,000 discount.

Key features of lava agni 3

The Lava Agni 3 impresses with its 6.78-inch 1.5K resolution 3D curved AMOLED display, featuring a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming experiences. The secondary 1.74-inch AMOLED display on the back boasts a resolution of 336 x 480, complementing the rear camera module. This secondary screen serves various functions, including quick access to notifications, managing calls, previewing the rear camera for selfies, controlling music, and tracking steps and calories.

Customizable Action Key

One of the standout features of the Lava Agni 3 is its customizable Action Key. This button can support over 100 shortcut combinations through short, long, or double presses. Users can set the Action Key to perform diverse tasks, such as acting as a camera shutter, toggling between silent and ring modes, activating the flashlight, taking screenshots, or launching specific applications.

Performance and battery life

Under the hood, the Lava Agni 3 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and offering up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone houses a robust 5,000mAh battery that supports 66W fast wired charging, ensuring users can quickly recharge their devices and stay connected throughout the day.

Camera capabilities

In terms of photography, the Agni 3 sports an impressive rear camera system, featuring a 50MP Sony main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP 3x zoom telephoto lens. For selfies, there’s a 16MP front camera equipped with electronic image stabilization (EIS), allowing users to capture clear and stable images.
