Presidents and prime ministers from around the world condemned political violence and offered solidarity with those affected by Saturday’s shooting, which killed one bystander and badly injured two more.

According to the spokeswoman for United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the shooting was an “act of political violence.”

“The Secretary-General strongly condemns this act of political violence. “He sends his best wishes for President Trump’s speedy recovery,” the spokeswoman stated.
