Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], October 1: The first-ever Navabharat Influencer Awards 2024 was a dazzling celebration of India’s brightest digital and social media stars. Held in Mumbai, this landmark event brought together influencers whose reach and impact extend beyond the digital screen, recognizing their contributions across diverse fields like technology, sports, fashion, infotainment, health, and more.

The event was graced by Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, who served as the Chief Guest, alongside Praful Patel and Dr. Shrikant Shinde, Member of Parliament, as Guests of Honour. Their presence underscored the importance of social media influencers in shaping public opinion and society at large. Powered by Tunwal E-Motors Limited and Apollo Hospitals, the awards honored individuals making meaningful contributions to their industries through the digital medium.

Celebrating social media’s role in modern society

The awards highlighted the growing significance of social media in modern culture. Brijesh Singh, Principal Secretary, CMO, Maharashtra, and Shweta Shalini, BJP State Secretary and Social Media & IT Incharge, both spoke about how social media influencers are shaping public discourse and contributing to societal growth. They emphasized how influencers are driving change and innovation in fields ranging from politics and business to arts and sports.

Visionaries behind the event

Nimish Maheshwari, Managing Editor, and Vaibhav Maheshwari, Managing Director of the Navabharat Group, expressed their vision of how print and digital media can coexist. With Navabharat celebrating 90 years of legacy, this event marked a new frontier in recognizing the impact of digital influencers.

The event was conceptualized by Aarti Notiyal, Founder of Bubble Communication, who curated the first-of-its-kind platform to honor 91 influencers across India. With meticulous research and an extensive selection process, her team identified over 400 influencers, from which the final 91 awardees were chosen by an esteemed jury.

The esteemed Jury

The jury, comprised of some of India’s most respected personalities, ensured that the most deserving influencers were recognized. The jury panel included:

  • Padma Gagan Narang
  • Bharat Dabholkar (Renowned Actor)
  • Jasvinder Kataria (Aditya Birla Group)
  • Josy Paul (Advertising Genius)
  • Yogesh Bhamare (KVIC Director)
  • Dr. Bhavna Shah (FMCG Expert)
  • Ravikant Mittal (Editor-in-Chief, IBC 24 Network)

Their collective expertise brought credibility to the selection process, ensuring that influencers who have made an impact both online and offline were honored.

Event highlights

The Navabharat Influencer Awards 2024 were supported by Radio City 91.1 FM as the Radio Partner, Ruby Hall Clinic as the Healthcare Partner, Alard University as the Education Partner, and Wallop Advertising as the Outdoor Partner. This combination of partners created a multifaceted event that was both a celebration and a showcase of the power of social media in modern India.

With over 400 influencers nominated across categories, the evening was a testament to how social media is transforming industries and lives. The event honored personalities who inspire, educate, and uplift their audiences, creating a ripple effect that goes beyond likes and shares.
