Singham Again Box Office Collection Day 3: Ajay Devgn Film Mints Rs 120 Crore

Ajay Devgn’s return as the fierce Bajirao Singham in Singham Again has catapulted the film to an explosive start, amassing a massive Rs 120 crore in its opening weekend. Directed by Rohit Shetty and featuring an all-star ensemble cast with Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh, this latest addition to Shetty’s cop universe premiered over Diwali and captured audiences, setting new benchmarks for both Devgn and Shetty.

This Rs 120 crore debut marks a record high for both Devgn and Shetty, surpassing the opening collections of their previous blockbusters like Golmaal Again and Chennai Express. On Day 3 alone, industry tracker Sacnilk reports that the film pulled in an impressive Rs 35 crore, making it clear that Singham Again is charging forward with unprecedented momentum.

Box Office Triumph: Singham Again Hits the 100-Crore Club

The first two days saw Singham Again earn a remarkable Rs 86 crore net in India, thanks to Diwali’s festive appeal. By Sunday, despite an estimated 17% drop due to Bhai Dooj celebrations, the film still managed to net Rs 35 crore, pushing its total collection to Rs 121 crore. This lands Singham Again comfortably in the coveted 100-crore club within just three days.

For a Bollywood film to reach this milestone within its opening weekend is rare, and Singham Again has set itself up as a dominant force among recent releases. Trade experts believe the film’s multi-star cast and the adrenaline-pumping appeal of Shetty’s cop universe are significant factors driving its performance. Singham Again offers audiences a high-octane experience that’s evidently resonating well, particularly among fans of Devgn’s iconic character and the ensemble’s charismatic chemistry.

About Singham Again

Singham Again is the third installment in the Singham franchise, following the iconic character Bajirao Singham as he continues to tackle crime with his relentless dedication to justice. As part of Shetty’s cop universe, the film brings in Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh as Simmba, adding synergy to the story. The movie also sees the introduction of new characters played by Tiger Shroff and Deepika Padukone, while Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor bring depth to the ensemble. Salman Khan’s cameo adds another layer of excitement, further bolstering the film’s star power and expanding the shared cinematic universe that Shetty has crafted over the years.

While Devgn anchors the film with his fierce portrayal of Singham, the additional characters bring fresh dynamics, energizing the story and pulling fans of each actor into theaters. With Shetty’s signature blend of action and mass appeal, Singham Again provides a spectacle that’s hard to match, and the impressive box office numbers reflect that audience enthusiasm.

The Week After Diwali: What’s Next for Singham Again?

As the film enters its first weekday run, the pressure is on to see how well Singham Again can maintain its traction. Monday, often a tough day for new releases, will be a critical test of the movie’s staying power. While a certain decline is expected after the Diwali weekend, industry experts suggest that Singham Again needs to avoid any steep drops to ensure a strong lifetime collection.

Trade analysts are optimistic, projecting that Singham Again could easily cross the Rs 300 crore mark. However, achieving that milestone depends on how well it performs through the week and sustains interest in the coming days. To surpass Sooryavanshi, Singham Again would need a stable run over the next week. With limited competition at the box office and the ongoing festive mood, Shetty’s latest venture has favorable conditions to solidify its hold.

What Makes Singham Again a Hit?

Singham Again is capitalizing on its potent mix of star power, festive timing, and an established fan base for Shetty’s cop universe. This film is more than just a sequel; it’s a celebration of Bollywood’s most beloved on-screen cops, offering action-packed sequences and multi-layered storylines that keep viewers hooked. By bringing together the biggest names in Bollywood, Singham Again taps into the unique appeal of an interconnected universe, something Bollywood rarely explores with this level of depth and fanfare.

As audiences continue to flock to theaters, Singham Again is proving that larger-than-life action and strong character-driven storytelling are still surefire ingredients for success. Shetty’s formula of blending action with family-friendly appeal and patriotic themes has yet again hit the mark, establishing Singham Again as not only a commercial success but also as a film that redefines Bollywood’s cop universe genre.

In just three days, Singham Again has cemented its place as a box-office phenomenon, and if it can keep up the pace, it may set a new benchmark for the industry. With audiences responding enthusiastically, the film’s performance over the next week will determine if it can truly achieve blockbuster status and become one of the highest-grossing films in Indian cinema.
