Emirates is set to enhance its services to Kuwait and Bahrain by introducing its state-of-the-art Airbus A350 aircraft, starting 8 January. These cities will become the second and third destinations to experience Emirates’ newest aircraft, following an earlier deployment. The announcement was made in a press release by the Dubai-based carrier.

Expanded operations with the airbus A350

The airline has outlined specific schedules for its Airbus A350 flights to both Kuwait and Bahrain:

Kuwait:

  • Flight EK853 will depart Dubai at 01:25 AM, arriving in Kuwait at 02:15 AM.
  • The return flight, EK854, will leave Kuwait at 03:40 AM, landing in Dubai at 06:25 AM.

Bahrain:

  • Flight EK837 will take off from Dubai at 08:20 AM, arriving in Bahrain at 08:40 AM. The return flight, EK838, departs Bahrain at 10:00 AM, reaching Dubai at 12:15 PM.
  • A second service, EK839, departs Dubai at 04:00 PM, arriving in Bahrain at 04:20 PM. The return flight, EK840, leaves Bahrain at 05:45 PM, landing in Dubai at 08:00 PM.

Exceptional onboard experience

The Airbus A350 promises passengers a premium travel experience across all cabin classes. The aircraft offers a three-class configuration with a total of 312 seats, including:

  • Business class: 32 next-generation lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 layout.
  • Premium economy: 21 seats in a 2-3-2 configuration, designed for enhanced comfort.
  • Economy class: 259 seats in a spacious 3-3-3 layout.

Passengers will enjoy innovative features, including high ceilings, wider aisles, and advanced technology. Emirates has integrated faster Wi-Fi and the latest version of its award-winning ice inflight entertainment system, delivering a cinematic experience with a vast selection of media and on-demand channels.

Strengthening regional connections

Emirates has a longstanding relationship with Kuwait, having operated flights to the country since 1989. Currently, the airline provides 29 weekly flights to Kuwait. The introduction of the Airbus A350 marks the second aircraft type equipped with the airline’s highly praised Premium Economy cabin and upgraded Business Class, following the retrofitted Boeing 777, which began flying to Kuwait in October 2024.

For Bahrain, Emirates operates 22 weekly flights, which will now feature a mix of Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft. This dual deployment aims to provide passengers with greater flexibility and access to the latest in aviation technology and comfort.

A milestone in emirates’ fleet expansion

The deployment of the Airbus A350 to Kuwait and Bahrain underscores Emirates’ commitment to enhancing regional connectivity and delivering a superior travel experience. By integrating this advanced aircraft into its Gulf routes, Emirates reinforces its leadership in offering state-of-the-art amenities and services to passengers.

The A350’s arrival in Kuwait and Bahrain also reflects the airline’s strategic investment in sustainability, with the aircraft designed for improved fuel efficiency and reduced environmental impact.

Looking ahead

As Emirates continues to upgrade its fleet and expand its reach, passengers travelling between Dubai, Kuwait, and Bahrain can expect unparalleled levels of comfort, convenience, and choice. The addition of the Airbus A350 further cements the airline’s reputation as a leader in global aviation.

With its modern features, enhanced cabins, and increased connectivity, the A350 promises to redefine short-haul travel in the Gulf region. Emirates’ investment in its fleet and services ensures it remains at the forefront of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
