Bharti Airtel, one of India’s leading telecommunications companies, has announced a strategic partnership with tech giant Apple to offer exclusive entertainment content to Airtel customers across India. This collaboration marks a significant step in enhancing the digital entertainment experience for millions of Airtel users, integrating premium content from Apple’s popular platforms, Apple TV+ and Apple Music, into Airtel’s suite of services.

As part of this partnership, Airtel Xstream customers, who are already enjoying a wide range of digital content through their premium WiFi and postpaid plans, will now have access to Apple TV+. This includes a vast library of Hollywood blockbusters, critically acclaimed series, and award-winning original content. Apple TV+ is known for its high-quality productions, offering a variety of genres that appeal to diverse audiences. From gripping dramas and comedies to groundbreaking documentaries and family-friendly content, Apple TV+ will now be easily accessible to Airtel users, enriching their entertainment options.

In addition to the video content, Airtel users will also gain access to Apple Music, Apple’s premier music streaming service. Apple Music offers a massive collection of songs from around the world, along with expertly curated playlists, live radio, and unique features like Apple Music Sing and Spatial Audio. For Airtel customers, this means an enhanced music experience with access to millions of tracks spanning various genres and languages. Notably, users of Wynk Music, Airtel’s music streaming service, who subscribe to Wynk Premium, will also receive exclusive offers as part of this partnership, further enhancing their music streaming experience.

Amit Tripathi, Chief Marketing Officer and EVP of Customer Experience for Bharti Airtel, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasizing the shared commitment of both companies to delivering exceptional customer experiences. “Apple and Airtel are natural partners who strive to bring excellence to customer experience. We also share the common vision of serving the entertainment needs of Indian users. Airtel offers a one-stop shop to bring all content and entertainment through Airtel Xstream. This partnership with Apple will provide immense value to our customers since they will now have access to the best content and entertainment globally,” Tripathi stated.

Apple’s vice president of Apple Music, Apple TV+, Sports, and Beats, Oliver Schusser, echoed this sentiment, highlighting Apple’s excitement about bringing its content offerings to Airtel’s extensive user base in India. “We are thrilled that Airtel customers in India will soon be able to enjoy all of the incredible content on Apple TV+ and Apple Music. With our ever-growing catalog of world-class films, television shows, and music to choose from, we know there will be something for everyone,” Schusser said.

This partnership comes at a time when the demand for high-quality, large-screen video content is rapidly increasing in India. As more consumers turn to digital platforms for their entertainment needs, the integration of Apple TV+ and Apple Music into Airtel’s services is expected to significantly enhance the value proposition for Airtel customers. Apple TV+ offers a premium viewing experience with original series, films, documentaries, and content for children, all available across various devices, including smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs.

For Airtel Xstream Fiber users, who already have access to a wide selection of TV shows, movies, and web series, the addition of Apple TV+ will further enrich their entertainment choices. The partnership will also likely boost customer retention and attract new subscribers to Airtel’s premium plans, as access to Apple’s globally renowned content will be a significant draw.

The exclusive offers stemming from this partnership are expected to be available to Airtel customers later this year, making it a much-anticipated upgrade for the telecom giant’s user base. As Airtel and Apple join forces, the collaboration promises to set a new benchmark in the Indian digital entertainment space, offering an unparalleled viewing and listening experience to millions of users across the country.
