Even at the age of 58, Shah Rukh Khan, affectionately known as the “King of Bollywood,” continues to captivate millions with his charm, fitness, and timeless appeal. Fans around the globe are always curious about the secret behind his energy and ageless charisma. In a recent interview with The Guardian, Shah Rukh Khan finally opened up about his daily routine, giving fans a rare glimpse into the lifestyle of one of the most beloved stars in the world.

Shah Rukh Khan’s daily routine details revealed

Shah Rukh Khan shared that his day begins later than most, and his routine is anything but conventional. The actor revealed that he typically goes to sleep around 5 am and wakes up by 9 or 10 am if he has to shoot. “I go to sleep at five in the morning. When Mark Wahlberg gets up, I go off to sleep. And then I wake up about nine or 10 if I’m shooting. But then I will come home at 2 am, take a bath and then work out before I go to sleep,” SRK said.

Khan’s late-night workouts, which last about 30 minutes, are a key part of his fitness regimen. Despite the unusual timing, he maintains this routine religiously, ensuring that he stays in top physical condition. His discipline is evident in the high-octane action sequences he performs with finesse, even at this stage in his career. His recent films, Pathaan and Jawan, showcased his physical prowess and left audiences in awe of his ability to execute complex stunts with ease.

Another surprising revelation from the interview was that SRK eats only one meal a day. This minimalist approach to diet is part of what keeps him lean and fit, helping him maintain his iconic physique that has been admired for decades.

SRK’s upcoming projects: ‘King’ and beyond

Shah Rukh Khan’s dedication to his craft continues to shine through in his upcoming projects. The actor is set to star in King, a much-anticipated action drama that is creating significant buzz. The film will reportedly also feature his daughter, Suhana Khan, alongside Munjya star Abhay Verma. In a recent appearance at the Locarno Film Festival, Khan spoke about King for the first time, giving fans a sneak peek into what to expect from the film.

“It is an action drama, it’s a Hindi film. It’ll be interesting. I’ve been wanting to do a film like that for some time, and I really wanted to do a film like this for seven, eight years. We just felt Sujoy would be the right choice because we wanted it to be very emotionally correct. We are all coming together to make a cool, massy, action, emotional film,” Khan shared.

Beyond bollywood: SRK’s global dream

Despite his monumental success in Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan remains focused on a bigger vision—making Indian cinema a global phenomenon. Although he has not ventured into Hollywood, his aspirations transcend personal fame. “My dream is to get that one Indian film to be seen with the kind of audience that a big Hollywood film is seen, whether I’m part of it as an actor, as a light man, as a producer, as a writer, as a presenter,” Khan revealed.

This statement underscores Khan’s commitment to elevating Indian cinema on the world stage, showing that his ambitions are not just about his career but about creating a lasting impact on the global film industry.

Shah Rukh Khan’s daily routine may be unconventional, but it reflects the discipline and passion that have driven his illustrious career. Whether through his intense late-night workouts, his minimalist diet, or his visionary goals for Indian cinema, SRK continues to inspire millions. As fans eagerly await his next release, King, they are also reminded of the dedication and hard work that have made him the legend he is today.
